Tucked away just minutes from the Historic Indiana Dunes, the Furness Mansion is a 150 year old, locally owned and operated boutique hotel. We were the original home of E.L. Furness (1832-1916),  who Furnessville takes its name from. 

Over the years, what was once a massive estate has now mostly been designated to National Park, while this thoughtfully restored mansion is able to provide the public with its historic charm and modern amenities. The mansion holds countless stories and precious memories of nearly two centuries worth of family celebrations. 

 

Whether you are here for a romantic weekend, a quiet solo escape, or a family getaway, our rooms and suites are specifically designed to feel like your home away from home. 

Run by four local healthcare professionals, caring for others is our full time job. It would be our honor, and our pleasure to host you!
